Also if you meet Delilah in the easteregg, the game wouldn't even have to keep going after that, it would just be huge nod to fans and be a sort of aside to the actual main game's story and narrative. Yes, I know that but can you imagine how crazy people would be going if a while after the initial release someone actually found a way that you can meet Delilah or catch Ned in his tracks or something? I haven't heard of many games utilizing these super eastereggs and for Firewatch, fans would love this, I know I would. It would be very unrealistic to have a scenario where Henry's life is ruined by an emotionally devastating ailment but he then goes out into the woods and rebounds with a new woman and lives happily ever after. Which I think is fitting, given the nature of why Henry was there. It would appear to me that, in the end, they were both such traumatized and damaged people that a story of them two together beyond this summer was never going to happen. And said after the end of every season, she goes and tries to talk to Javier in Casper. But since I didn't talk about my wife, she went into a little more detail on her baggage. She didn't have the standoffish almost disdain she had in the first one. The ending to the second was much better. I had came out here, freaked out about some conspiracy, and in the end way overblown what ultimately was a personal tragedy for her- not me. you have baggage you need to go deal with. The ending to the first was pretty harsh. But was still supportive of the stuff Delilah was going through, particularly with Brian. Second time, I didn't discuss the wife really at all. I feel like Delilah was like "this guy is a spaz" and got tired of my shit. I also sobbed about my wife way too much. First time, I was paranoid and all wrapped up in the mystery. I've now played through a couple of times. I think the easter egg idea would be cool. Here it is: Īnyways, just a thought and maybe after you meet Delilah in the super easteregg the game could even play out further just much differently or it could just end. The only other super easteregg I know of that is'nt nearly as cool as the "meeting Delilah" one would be is in farcry 4 where you can beat the game in under 15 minutes with a very different ending if you do a certain thing. One super easteregg I've thought of is there being a way to actually cross over to Delilah's sector on the pully car through some hidden sequence or way and go to her tower to meet her long before the main story is over and then just have the game end at that, of course you could go back and play through the main story line too but I love the idea of super easter eggs and Firewatch is one of those games that could have put other games to shame in this area. I was also thinking that a game like this could really benefit from taking advantage of super eastereggs or rather an easteregg that is actually game changing in that there are one or two completely different ways for it to playout and they could even make the game effectively a much shorter experience. She also mentions they both have to do a long debriefing so when the helicopter comes to pick up Henry and you decide to get in, once it lands Henry meets Delilah for certain, the game just ends before we ever get to see it. So, at the very end when Henry and Delilah are talking over the radio while Henry is in her tower waiting for the helicopter, Delilah says she's standing by his truck.
